Welcome to Tawongamusic.co.uk
Ever since I was 3 years old Music has been a passion of mine so at the moment i've been composing my own songs mainly instrumental music and alongside this i'm learning how to DJ to prepare myself for upcoming opportunities that i'll get at any freelance gigs that i might be able to do as the second main income source that i've outlined on my personal Excel budget spreadsheet which will be fun as people will be able to hire me for any events that i could take part in to boost my confidence with it like charity fundraisers, playing set-lists at a client's birthday party and many more. I'll still be able to compose my material and continue to practise developing my Djaying skills further. It will help me earn the £16.97 per hour salary that beginner DJs in the UK currently earn.

HOW MUSIC HAS INFLUENCED ME DURING MY LIFE AND MY HOBBIES:
Music has been a passion of mine since i was a young boy when i was younger i spent a lot of time at home playing with my very first Yamaha keyboard that my parents bought me which i no longer have but it was fun spending quite a bit of time playing around creating melodies as well as playing with the drum kit setting button . The music that put me to sleep every night when i was a toddler was a cd with some of my favourite theme songs from CBeebies , by the time i was 6 i started listening to Calvin Harris and then i also continue to listen to praise and worship music that my parents listened to in the car to cheer me up when I was feeling sad. Some of my other favourite musicians include the likes of John Newman, sam Fender ( as of recently), Fatboy Slim , One Republic (especially as they wrote I Ain't worried for the Top Gun Maverick soundtrack) , The Night-crawlers, and many more . In terms of concerts that i've been to the only ones were at the Royal Albert hall on a school trip in year 9 to see the Royal philharmonic orchestra, Silverstone in 2017 during the F1 British grand prix weekend and we listened to the son of one of the members from Status Quo singing 'Rocking all over the World'.
ABOUT ME
Christian and music enthusiast since the age of 3
They say where words fail, music speaks and for me tawongamusic music has been a passion of mine since i was 3 years old when I used to spend a lot of time in my bedroom playing about with my very first Yamaha keyboard that my parents bought me which was a funny experience for me because I had no knowledge about music theory then it wasn't until the first time I went to church that I could see great potential in me as music was going to inspire me to achieve things that I thought were impossible. Fast forward to when I was in Year 9 studying GCSE Music in secondary school I had my very first piano lesson with a private tutor named Mrs Roberts who teaches piano lessons and singing lessons and she taught me about the the basics of piano like chord progressions and the degree of the scale as well as teaching me how to play my first piece. After I had finished all the lessons with her I moved onto drum lessons in year 10 and met a private tutor called Chris who is one of her colleagues because they are both part of the music summer school that happens every year during the summer holidays . With Chris he introduced me to the world of being a drummer and taught me how to play along to some of the best songs like 'My name is' by Eminem which is a grade 3 drum piece from the rockschool grade 3 book drum book but that was towards the very end of my drum lessons with him, the very first thing he taught me was the names of each part of a drum kit and how to read the notation which is different from how you read piano sheet notation so he taught me some warm up exercises like the different stick combination patterns which are left left right right , right right left left and left right left right then he got me to learn from the rockschool debut drums book and once i managed to understand the different concepts he helped me prepare for the assessment that I had to do in front of the class and then towards the end of year 11 after I finished my GCSES the best thing happened I managed to pass the rockschool drums practical exam thanks to him and the advice he gave me . In terms of creating music I set up my Soundcloud account in 2020 .
